Harry Lambert, who has styled Harry Styles since 2014, has been awarded an Honorary Master of Arts by the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) in recognition of his contribution to the fashion industry.Â
The British stylist graduated from UCA with a first-class degree in photography in 2008 and was presented with the award during the university’s graduation ceremony at London’s Royal Festival Hall on Thursday
Best known for shaping Harry Styles’ fashion identity, Lambert has helped redefine contemporary menswear through gender-fluid tailoring, bold silhouettes and collaborations with emerging designers including Harris Reed and Steven Stokey-Daley.

Beyond his work with Styles, Lambert has styled a number of high-profile names including Emma Corrin and Alexander Skarsgård, creating some of recent years’ most talked-about red carpet looks. He has also collaborated with brands including Pandora, Zara and eBay.
The honorary award recognised Lambert’s contribution to the fashion and creative industries, with actor Emma Corrin surprising him during the ceremony via a video message.
“I don’t know anyone who works as hard and who brings more creativity, joy and inventiveness to their work,” Corrin said.
Accepting the award, Lambert reflected on the role UCA played in his career.
“UCA completely changed my life,” he said. “I realise now that inspiration doesn’t come from a postcode or a city, it comes from the people who challenge you, encourage you and help you see the world differently.”
“And I still use the skills I learnt there every day. Thank you UCA, not only for this extraordinary honour, but for seeing something in me before I could fully see it in myself.”
Lambert has become one of Britain’s most influential fashion stylists since meeting Styles in 2014, with the pair helping to challenge traditional menswear conventions through looks featuring pearls, feather boas, floral tailoring and flared silhouettes.
