Luxury womenswear brand Nadine Merabi announced the appointment of Briony Garbett as Chief Executive Officer, as it continues its expansion plans.Â
Garbett joins the business from Karen Millen, where she has served as Managing Director since 2025. She replaces the former CEO Jacobo Hachuel, who left the brand in 2025.
Her appointment marks another milestone for the brand, as it both celebrates its 10th anniversary and enters its next phase of global growth.
The announcement follows the appointments of Nick Beighton and Hash Ladha as advisors to the business, earlier in the year. Both will now formally join the Board, with Beighton appointed Non-Executive Chair and Ladha appointed Non-Executive Director.
Garbett brings extensive experience across fashion, digital and brand leadership to her new role, the brand said.
She joined Oasis in 2012, progressing to Customer Director before departing in 2017. She subsequently joined Kurt Geiger as Chief Marketing Officer and has also held senior leadership roles including CEO at consumer health tech brand Naama Studios and CMO at maternity wear brand Seraphine.
Nadine Merabi, Founder of Nadine Merabi, commented: “The moment I met Briony, I knew she was the perfect fit for MERABI. She brings exceptional leadership qualities, deep experience, strong commercial acumen and an energy that aligns completely with our culture and ambitions.
“I cannot wait for her to join the team and help lead the business through its next stage of growth. We have incredibly exciting plans ahead, and I know Briony will play a pivotal role in bringing them to life.”
Garbett added: “This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing global brand that is truly resonating with women. Merabi has built something very special — a distinctive brand with strong foundations, a highly engaged customer and significant opportunity for profitable international growth across DTC, wholesale and category expansion.
“What makes the opportunity even more compelling is the chance to partner with such an exceptional founder with a very clear creative vision. It’s a dream role.”
Nadine Merabi, which launched in 2015 and built its reputation in occasionwear and partywear, has recently released its first denim capsule collection as it looks to expand into everyday wear.
