British heritage footwear brand Clarks has opened a new store at 11 Boulevard de la Madeleine in Paris, adding to its existing store in the French capital and providing further momentum for its growth plans across France and Europe.
Close to Place de la Madeleine and the major shopping destinations of Boulevard Haussmann, the new store is located in one of the city’s most prominent retail districts.
Clarks, which celebrated its 200th anniversary in 2025, has plans to open three more stores in France before the end of 2026 as part of its broader expansion programme across Europe, which has seen it secure new locations in several key countries this year, including Italy, Spain and Belgium, as well as further stores in the UK.
Joe Ulloa, President, UK & Europe at Clarks, said: “The opening of our new store on Boulevard de la Madeleine is an important moment for Clarks in France and a clear demonstration of our confidence in the market.
“Paris is one of the world’s most influential retail and fashion destinations, and this new location gives us an excellent platform from which to introduce more customers to the quality, comfort and design that have defined Clarks for more than 200 years.

“This is our second store in Paris, but it is only one part of our ambition for France. With three further openings planned in the country this year, we are building a stronger retail network while also expanding through wholesale and other channels.
“France is central to our wider European growth plans, and we see significant potential to build a larger, more relevant and more accessible Clarks business here.”
Clarks is pursuing future growth through a multi-channel combination of directly managed stores, wholesale distribution, franchise partnerships, e-commerce and marketplaces.

Alongside its investment in physical retail, Clarks has greatly expanded its European wholesale network. For AW26, the company is working with 120 new multi-brand accounts across Europe and the UK, supporting greater distribution of the brand through selected retail partners.
The expansion follows Clarks’ return to profitability in 2025, when the company reported an operating profit of £66.3 million and ended the year with no bank debt.
Clarks has also refined its pricing architecture across Europe to offer greater consistency and value, while retaining the quality, craftsmanship and comfort for which the brand is known.

Customers at the new Paris store can discover a broad new footwear offer across men’s and women’s styles, as well as the brand’s internationally recognised ‘icons’ from its Clarks Originals line, including the ‘Desert Boot’ and ‘Wallabee’.
Last week saw Clarks extend its Originals label to include clothing and accessories, its first global non-footwear collection. The unisex range comprises T-shirts, baseball caps, socks and a sticker pack.
Available through selected Clarks stores and its website, the launch centres on seven T-shirt colourways featuring ‘Wallabee’ and ‘Desert Trek’ illustrations sourced from the Clarks archive.
