Harrods has unveiled a redesigned ‘Designer Collections’ room on the menswear floor of its Knightsbridge flagship, complete with a dedicated pop-up area to host exclusive launches, seasonal stories and brand activations.
The new second floor space marks a significant evolution of the retailer’s menswear offering and a major expansion of its lifestyle category.
It brings together leading brands including Barbour, Orlebar Brown, Paul & Shark, Sease, Purdey, Herno and Vilebrequin with newly designed shop fits – each tailored to reflect the individual identity and craftsmanship of the brands featured within the space.
Created to reflect changing customer behaviours and the growing demand for complete wardrobe solutions, the new space “champions a holistic approach to modern dressing”, bringing together luxury fashion, lifestyle and versatility within one destination.
Yasmin Mehmet, Menswear Buying Manager at Harrods, said: “The new Designer Collections room marks a significant expansion of our lifestyle category and reflects how our customers are increasingly shopping for a complete wardrobe.
“We are seeing growing demand for versatile pieces that seamlessly transition across different occasions, particularly within categories such as outerwear, knitwear and gilets.
“By bringing together a carefully curated selection of brands and creating an environment dedicated to discovery and inspiration, we are further strengthening our offer for the modern menswear customer.”
Last month, Harrods reported a return to profit after the previous year was weighed down by compensation and associated costs linked to historic abuse suffered by victims of former owner Mohamed Al-Fayed.
Harrods recorded a pre-tax profit of £84.9 million for the 52 weeks ended 31 January 2026, while turnover increased by 1.2% to £1.08 billion.
The return to profit follows a wider restructuring of Harrods’ senior management. Chief Information Officer Andreas Efstathiou has now been named Chief Operating Officer, bringing its supply chain operations, facilities management, engineering and security function under one executive role.
The restructure also included appointing Mark Blundell as Chief Retail Officer and Sarah Myler as Chief Brand & Reputation Officer, while Geoff Weaver came into the business as Chief Financial Officer in 2025.
In recent months, Harrods has focused on investing in its flagship store. In June, it opened its first ‘International Designer Room’ within its first floor womenswear redevelopment, with three interconnected rooms planned as part of the retailer’s broader ‘Womenswear Masterplan’.
