Jil Sander has appointed Marco Viganò as its new chief executive officer, effective immediately.
Viganò will report to OTB Group CEO Ubaldo Minelli, who has led Jil Sander on an interim basis since the departure of Serge Brunschwig in July 2025, according to WWD,
Brunschwig joined Jil Sander in February 2025 as CEO, while also taking on the role of Chief Strategy Officer at parent company OTB Group. He left both positions after six months for personal reasons, with Minelli assuming his responsibilities on an interim basis.
Viganò joins from Moncler, where he most recently served as Global Chief Client Officer and President EMEA. He was responsible for client development and customer experience strategies across the region.
He has held a number of senior commercial and operational roles across the luxury sector. Before joining Moncler, he was Chief Commercial Officer at Audemars Piguet and Chief Operating Officer at Saint Laurent. He has also held positions at Louis Vuitton, Gucci and L’Oréal.
His career has spanned Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Russia, alongside experience at management consultancy McKinsey & Company.

The appointment comes as Jil Sander continues to establish the creative direction of Simone Bellotti, who joined the brand as Creative Director in March 2025 after leaving Bally. Bellotti succeeded Luke and Lucie Meier and presented his second collection for the brand for Autumn-Winter 2026.
Jil Sander is controlled by OTB Group, the Italian fashion group founded by Renzo Rosso, which also owns brands including Diesel, Maison Margiela, Marni and Viktor & Rolf.
