London-based activewear brand TALA is gearing to open a new store at Westfield St James Quarter in Edinburgh in November 2026.
It will add to the brand’s two existing London stores at 3-4 Carnaby Street and Westfield White City, which opened in May and November 2025 respectively, as it enters its “next stage of growth”.
The new Edinburgh store will showcase the brand’s full product range, offering customers an immersive brand experience with a personalised service, building on the learnings from both London locations.
Commenting on the expansion, TALA’s Chief Executive Officer, Sally Hughes-Daniels, said: “We’re proud to announce that TALA is opening its third store and first outside of London. The success of our Carnaby and Westfield White City stores has proven our retail model, and it’s now time to build on this success.
“Expanding beyond London has long been in the works, but for our first step outside the capital, it was so important that we found a location that felt a natural fit for TALA, and Edinburgh ticks every box.
“We already know we have a great TALA community in Edinburgh, and the city’s strong outdoor and active culture makes it the perfect place for us to put down roots.
“Bringing TALA to women all around the UK is one of our key goals, and we’re looking forward to Edinburgh marking the start of that IRL journey. We can’t wait to meet more of our community in person and become part of this historic city.”
Hughes-Daniels was appointed as permanent CEO of TALA in July 2026, after five months in the interim role, at the same time that Verity Linnell joined as Chief Financial Officer from British organic skincare brand Pai Skincare.
In 2024, TALA raised £5 million from investors, including Pembroke VCT, Venrex, and Active Partners, to support international expansion and the move into physical retail.
