The Handbag Clinic has returned to Selfridges Manchester Trafford for a new pop-up running from 18-27 September 2026.
The circular luxury specialist has taken over a temporary space on the ground floor within Selfridges’ ‘Reselfridges’ section in women’s accessories, bringing its combination of authenticated pre-owned handbags, professional repair services and circular luxury expertise to shoppers in the region.
The Handbag Clinic last brought its ‘Buy, Sell, Restore, Authenticate’ pop-up to Selfridges Manchester Trafford in March 2025 (as well as to Selfridges in Birmingham), and the region is an increasingly important market for the concept, with 14% of its clients currently based across the North West.
The latest pop-up gives the brand an opportunity to build on that existing customer base while introducing a wider Manchester audience to the growing market for authenticated pre-owned and vintage designer handbags.
The Handbag Clinic’s current collection features sought-after pieces from luxury names including Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Mulberry, alongside access to its specialist services.
Visitors can now have handbags professionally authenticated, discuss repair requirements with the Clinic’s experts and receive repair quotations in person.
Customers will also have the opportunity to exchange unwanted designer handbags for a Selfridges voucher, giving shoppers another route into the circular luxury economy and “demonstrating the growing role of resale, repair and reuse” alongside traditional luxury retail.

The Manchester pop-up forms part of The Handbag Clinic’s continued expansion beyond London and its ongoing relationship with Selfridges, where it has had a permanent in-store concession within its Oxford Street flagship since April 2024.
